Day Trips | Pick-ups in Fleet, Church Crookham and Hale 15th November £33 including entry ticket
Today we explore The Vyne, a warm red-bricked 16th-century country house visited by Anne Boleyn, Elizabeth I and Jane Austen.
Built by Henry VIII’s Lord Chamberlain and owned by the Chute family for over 300 years, we see some of The Vyne's treasures: furniture, tapestries, silk wall hangings and paintings. See also the Tudor chapel with stained glass windows. Explore the Tudor roof via a lift-accessible walkway and see the construction of this fabulous building. Viewing points provide vistas of the Vyne Estate. Visit the shop and Brewhouse tea-room, before we take a scenic drive home. Departures from 10am, returning from 3pm.
