Frequently Asked Questions about our trips

Most day trips include any entrance fees.  These are clearly marked on the trip description.   Sometimes customers are entitled to discounted or free entrance e.g. for National Trust, English Heritage and RHS properties and we offer a price for the travel element only (don’t forget to bring your membership card!).  Occasionally we find that not everybody wants to go in – perhaps they are meeting with a friend or relative instead.  This is fine – again we offer a travel only price.

The coach driver will issue the entry/theatre tickets on the day of travel.

There is no need to bring your Booking Confirmation.  The driver has a list of passenger sand will be expecting you!

We generally aim to stop every 1.5 to 2 hours for a short break, depending on the availability of suitable stopping points.  Drivers will do their best to find somewhere to stop on request.

Yes, but we do ask that you let us know at the time of booking.  You must be able to get on and off the minibus or coach by yourself.

Each Day Trip follows a route for pick-ups.  This is determined by which passengers we have and where they live.  Once we have all the bookings (some are made at last minute) we work out your individual pick-up time and advise you by email or phone.  This is normally 4 or 5 days before travel.  The ‘Departures from’ time in the brochure is the time for the first pick-up and subsequent pick-up times are after this.

Yes, you are welcome to join a trip on another route.  The rear pages of our brochure show the main pick-up points for each route.

In the event that someone in your party needs to cancel then you can transfer the place to someone else free of charge.  Unfortunately, we do not offer a refund for cancelled or missed Day Trips.  Travel insurance may protect from such an eventuality.

Currently we do not assign seats to passengers. This may change in the future.

We can take fold up wheelchairs if pre-booked with us.  However, the passenger must be able to get on and off the vehicle.

Yes, it is a legal requirement to wear a seatbelt at all times while travelling on the vehicle.
