Originally a manor house, Sissinghurst was later used as a prison before becoming a famous garden in the 1930s, created by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson. It is known for its unique “garden rooms,” each with different colours and plants. Enjoy a break at the on-site cafe at Sissinghurst, run by the National Trust.
