Christmas in Blackpool – Wednesday 23rd December – 5 Days

Your holiday includes:

• 4 nights stay at the Imperial Blackpool – dinner, bed and breakfast

• East Lancashire Railway: Heywood –Rawtenstall station (single journey)

DAY 1: Depart from your home area and travel to Blackpool, arriving late afternoon at the Imperial Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast. Welcome drink & festive treat on arrival. After our dinner this evening, we enjoy some entertainment to round off the evening.

DAY 2 ‘CHRISTMAS EVE’: After breakfast, we journey to the seaside town of Morecambe. Stroll along Morecambe’s award-winning promenade taking in the views across the bay. Later we journey inland to Lancaster, one of England’s ‘Heritage Cities’ where you have free time to browse the festively decorated shops. Later we return to the hotel for Afternoon Tea. In the evening, there is a sparkling drinks reception with carol singing before dinner, followed by another night of entertainment.

DAY 3 ‘CHRISTMAS DAY’: A Happy Christmas to you all! After you’ve opened your presents and enjoyed breakfast, relax in the hotel or enjoy a Christmas Day walk along the promenade. Just after  midday, enjoy your Traditional Christmas Lunch with some musical entertainment. After lunch, there will be a ‘carol singalong’ followed by bingo to keep us entertained until dinner. This will be a hot / cold buffet followed by a night of entertainment.

DAY 4 ‘BOXING DAY’: This morning, we journey South East to Heywood Station to board the East Lancashire Railway for a stunning journey through the beautiful scenery of the West Pennine to  Rawtenstall station. In the afternoon, we head back to Blackpool where we can enjoy a music quiz, followed by tea and cakes before dinner. After a pre-dinner drink, enjoy the delicious Gala Dinner with musical entertainment throughout, followed by a disco to end our trip on a high.

DAY 5: After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
